Clicgear 3.0 Golf Push Cart
If you are looking for a great golf push cart that quickly and easily folds up really small for transportation and storage but does not compromise on features then the Clicgear 3.0 could be the one for you.
It is not surprising that this golf push cart won the 2007 Best New Product award at the PGA Merchandise show in Orlando, Florida and there have been significant improvements made in the latest model.
The big plus is that the compact frame simply folds down to an amazing 13 by 24 by 15 inches. So easy to fit into the car trunk with your golf bag etc especially when you are travelling with others to the golf course. It also makes it quite feasible to take it with you when flying.
The Clicgear 3.0 boasts a large console which includes a ball holder, scorecard holder (both interior and exterior), pencil holder, tee holder, glove holder and towel hooks. There is also a mesh storage net to hold your snacks and other small items like your phone, keys etc.
It is made from aircraft grade aluminum tubing for lightweight durability and is extremely well made and well engineered. It is available in a large variety of colors – black, blue, silver, red, orange, kiwi and yellow.
It may take a few times to get the hang of folding and unfolding it but once you have mastered this you will be amazed at how well designed it is. You just need to be aware that there are pinch points to look out for but there are warnings printed on the cart where not to hold when folding and unfolding.
The price of the Clicgear 3.0 is a little higher than some other golf push carts but like they say, you get what you pay for. You would not regret paying that bit extra for the quality and features of this cart. Spread over the number of years you will be using it the extra becomes insignificant.
This model has a newly improved hand brake system which easily engages and releases the brake for the front wheel. Because the cart rolls so freely you need to use the brake often, even on semi flat surfaces. That means you don’t have to look for flat ground whenever you stop to take a shot, a real bonus.
There are a number of optional accessories available for the Clicgear 3.0 including a shoe brush attachment, wheel cover to keep the trunk of your car clean, umbrella angle adjuster, cup holder, cooler tube and storage hook.
It comes with an umbrella holder for protection from the sun and rain. An adjustable umbrella holder is available as an optional extra. There is also a detachable water bottle holder that could be attached to various places on the cart or your bag.
The straps for holding the bag are excellent, securely holding the bag in position without adjusting, sliding or twisting. It is also possible to use a stand bag on the cart.
